Curriculum Map - McDowell

You can view my curriculum map for Consumer Economics here. I decided to use 6 of the 9 Consumer Economic Standards that we assess each semester. What is unique about these learning standards is that I met with our districts curriculum coordinator and we wrote our own standards for Consumer Economics that were based on Illinois Financial Literacy standards as well as the National Business Educators Association standards. This standards are unique to University High School Business Department. The 6 standards that I decided to use were in areas that I felt like technology could be used to advance the students understanding of the learning standard and allow for the students to express more of their creativity in choosing the platform that they want to present on.
