This week really allowed myself to be reintroduced to Twitter and the benefits this platform has. Prior to this class, I did not use Twitter. This class, in just three days has allowed me to really explore the world of Twitter, beginning with Sklar's article. This article taught a lot. I was unaware of the changes and all the new options Twitter has to offer such as Twitter lists, Twitter moments, etc. This week I took the opportunity to get to know the app again, I used hashtag, revisited old posts, as well as began following mor professional accounts. I am excited to continue with Twitter and hopeful to learn even more about this. I would like to look more into incorporating Twitter in a classroom but specifically in a foreign language classroom.
Social media platforms and popularity change often especially amongst students. Sharing the benefits and resources Twitter has to offer is a goal of mine in the coming school year. I am open to any advice or feedback on best practices with Twitter in the classroom.

Visuals just like this help me try to implement different aspects to help my learners. This is exactly something I would print keep next to my desk as I plan. This is something that really can spark me to try something new or remind me about how I can help my students. Hope you all find value in this like myself! ☺️

In EAF 410 a colleague brought this to my attention and we based our proposal on this method. Wow! I am enjoying what I am learning about this and although I know this is being done in some capacity this method and the strategies can really be something I take into my classroom. I recommend this to anyone want to really create dialogue and be “with” your students.

I saw this retweeted from a fellow Spanish teacher! 🙌🏽 Martina Bex is a knowledgeable resource that bring Spanish alive and I love it! She shared a Highlights-type magazine for teachers to use in the classroom. I love using resources like these as they cover current events all while in another language.

This unit is for Spanish 3 level students and personal questions are discussed after learning the history and reasons behind this walk. I began following this handle and added it to my lists use and rediscover for my unit.
https://twitter.com/senoralynch/status/1405708536835973124?s=21F1: I found this article and I began reading it after I found an interest in topics such as this. I was part of a book study this past semester with fellow colleagues and admin team that opened my eyes to racism and white supremacy. Now I find myself more aware, and continuing to educate myself on topics about injustice and community in the classroom.
I started my Twitter #find5 journey to become more familiar with Twitter itself. I really have not used Twitter in the last couple years. This course is allowing me to explore, to be honest with some discomfort because I’m not sure what I am looking for but want to find interesting and educating items. So I started by applying my learning from the Sklar’s article. I had no idea that Twitter has changed. I learned about making Lists and I did just that and began adding to them.
