F1: After reading the assigned article for our 1st Learning Challenge I was able to get excited about all of the possibilities of using Twitter in the classroom again and I logged back into my @MrMcDowelledu Twitter account for the first time in several years.
F2: Building off of the Hypothes.is article, I remembered this educational technology tool from a previous class and was able to look through some of the articles that I had previously posted and had my students annotate. This is a tool that I plan to integrate back into my classroom this coming school year.
F3: I created my very first Twitter Moments as I captured a screenshot of it above. I am teaching summer school currently for a Consumer Economics course, so I am playing around with the Twitter Moments and am looking for a way to use it this summer.
F4: I was able to go through my follows and add to my PLN. I added @yahoofinance in addition to @Forbes, @Cnnbusiness and other local business teachers in our area.
F5: I am still trying to figure out exactly how these posts are supposed to look, and what you all are finding on your #F5F so I admittedly creeped on some of your Twitter Accounts to see how you are engaging with the material of #tch432!
This week I was able to re-open my @MrMcDowelledu Twitter Handle that I have previously used for communication purposes with my students. After reading the assigned article I learned about creating moments on twitter and I set up a Twitter moment for my Consumer Economics class (Screenshot) and also began adding moments to it like the Tweet Article from CNN on the Affordable Care Act.
