Here's my "What's next" presentation! The biggest thing that I need to do right now, is keep exploring technology. I am going to start with some of the programs I've learned about in this course, spending the rest of the summer (since it won't be as hectic) testing them in more depth and creating some new plans for the fall.

The reading from week 5 was one of the biggest takeaways for me too. All of week 3 was some of the best reading and assignments I've worked with this year. Keep looking at DAWs and like David recommended, get your school to get you a MIDI keyboard!
I've enjoyed seeing your work over the past 4 weeks, Nigel; best of luck on the rest of you summer as you head into the fall. I would definitely recommend a MIDI keyboard; I'd push hard to let your district know it's a necessity for any music teacher.
Nigel, you have some great ideas moving forward! Podcasting in a music classroom would be super interesting and I'm sure the students would have some great ideas on what to talk about. It's neat that Soundtrap offers a free educator course. I wish more programs did that!
Hey Nigel! I like your specific examples of what you would like to focus on. I didn't know that Soundtrap offers a certified educator course. That interests me. I used Bandlab a little bit and would recommend it. After introducing Bandlabto my students, many of them use it to write their own music.
