I think you have a very sound plan. I hope it works out well. And I must say I can completely relate. I get so excited after taking a tech course and then can't wait to implement all that I have learned. However after a few months and the school year gets in full swing it is hard to stay on top of everything. I think with a plan like this that would really make implementing new ideas more manageable.
Laura, I love the idea of sharing your technology finds with your colleagues as faculty meetings. That is such a great way to get new ideas out there so that everyone can benefit across the board. In our building each grade is a different hallway so I rarely see anyone outside of 8th grade. You have a great plan and I wish you luck getting it implemented!
Laura, I liked your presentation. I think a key part of your plan is getting your tech director and administration on board: I think it is certainly realistic to make the changes you are talking about by getting their blessing. It always helps to have administration backing you!

I like your breakdown of benefits. Maybe we should collaborate with a PD session and bring to light our finding in this course to our WCHS colleagues.😁
