Conclusion:
I feel as strong as ever regarding this DAW. While it may not be "professional" equipment, it works really well to learn with, very collaborative, cloud based, and just overall an awesome tool for class use. As long as I am teaching music technology or recording courses I will continue to use this program (unless me school will purchase all professional equipment for classroom use!).
Tyler, this was a great write-up on Soundtrap. I am really glad I found this this summer. I have used GarageBand in my class on a few occasions, but I find it intimidates some of my students. I feel like this is a slightly more user-friendly program, and I hope I can make it work this fall.
Tyler, reading your vision for your students is remarkable. I guarantee your students feel this. Soundtrap sounds like a great software to engage your students in and give them a unique experience.
