Above is a final draft of my Technology Integration Plan. I want my students to speak Spanish as many create their own barriers of doing so, lack of confidence, lack of pronunciation etc. With this specific plan I take you through a unit so you have a better understanding of where this speaking practice (output) happens in any unit. My idea is to create a "speaking portfolio" to give students an opportunity to give output of the Spanish language in a more private setting and allow myself to listen to each individual and provide feedback. This is done frequently in many units as an end goal, using a portfolio will also keep students accountable and consistent in their output and learning.
Using the feedback received by my colleagues, I will look into adding in the VoiceThread and Voice Memos to have more options for my students and allow them to use what they feel confident and comfortable with for their speaking practice. In turn I will add in a debrief session to discuss the technology tools asking students to reflect on what worked for them and what did not work for them. I will have them think, write and then share their reflections in a dialogic session and I will make notes to then better these speaking practice parts of the lesson.
