Reflection: I truly enjoyed this challenge because I was able to directly tie the use of technology tools to the Illinois State Standards of Music, which are embedded in my middle school band curriculum. Through completing the map above, I was able to develop an effective thought process for selecting technology tools to use with students. The concepts I learned from completing this challenge will be helpful to me as I move forward as an educator that wants to improve my use of technology in the classroom. I will also be able to share these ideas with my colleagues to improve our use of technology! Lastly, I look forward to using the activities I created on the map next year with students.

I love how you layered a composition project starting with Musescore and then Bandlab. The process provides your students with the opportunity to go through the composition process, starting small with a melody but eventually turning it into a larger production. You've got them presenting on their rationale for the composition, very nice!
